Helsinki Diplomat Sports (HDS) is a sports club located in Helsinki, Finland. Our primary focus is to offer footballing opportunities to the international community in the Finnish capital region. While football remains our traditional sport, we also promote and engage in various other related sports activities. Additionally, our club organizes social outings, field trips, and picnics to foster a sense of community among our members.

Helsinki Diplomat Sports (HDS) has deep roots dating back to the 1970s in Finland. It originated from various entities, including the Helsinki Diplomat Association's sports section, the African community's Black Stars, the international community, Espoo-based Cosmos Juniors football section, and the Arabic-speaking FC Carthago. These clubs and organizations came together in the late 1990s with the aim of providing sporting and social opportunities for international and internationally-minded individuals in Finland. 2009, had been a break through year for HDS, being promoted to Div.III after many years of trying and now travelling all around Uusimaa to promote international team sports. At its peak in 2012 the club ranked among the top 20 largest clubs in Helsinki by the number of registered athletes and was also ranked 16th in terms of league success.

Traditionally, the club competed in the inter-regional Division 3, with its home ground at the Töölö Stadium. Notable achievements include Finnish Cup successes between 2004 and 2014, during which the club reached the final rounds three times, challenging Finnish Champions HJK and KTP in the playoffs. The club won the Helsinki Winter Championship in 1999 together with the club HITS and the Distrcit Championship twice, in the years 2000 and 2001. The club was also home to several high profile players such as the Champions League scorer Obiola Aniche. As of 2024, the club competes in Division 5 with several additional teams and groups participating in grassroots leagues.
